Reaching Youth with the Gospel of Christ

At Eastford Baptist Church we desire to impact the lives of children with the Word of God in a fun, dynamic way. What we DON’T want is just another program. What we DO want is a program that is based upon Biblical Principles because we believe that the Word of God makes a difference in the life of a child. 

   Using Word of Life Children’s Ministries we want children to have the time of their lives engrafting the Word of God into their lives.

How does this work?

Our goal is to help students learn, meditate and receive instruction from the Word of God.  Bible study is essential in helping children apply the Word of God to every day live in order to live a victorious Christian life.

We seek to use Quiet Time to help students build an intimate relationship and fellowship with God through prayer and reading of the Word of God with personal application. We believe each student will grow closer in their personal relationship with God through His Word and prayer.

We believe that internalizing Scripture to connect to life’s needs and problems is essential for a growing, obedient Christians. The memorization of Scripture will help a believer to sin less, witness more and encourage others.

      The purpose is not quantity but quality. Children are not only to learn the verse but also to remember it and how it applies to their lives.

We seek to infuse the Word of God into the lives of the students to the point that it is demonstrated in compassion and care for others. Children participate in various avenues of serving God through individual and group evangelistic and service projects. 

An incentive program that is creative and fun rewards children for being faithful to Biblical principles.
